  • The Health Office at MHSN is scheduled to perform Scoliosis Screenings on all 9th and 11th grade students on February 6th and February 7th, 2017. The screenings will take place during the students physical education block. 
  • If you do not want your child to participate, you must fill in the bottom portion of the information letter and return it to the school nurse before January 26, 2017.

 The Backpack Crew is having their 2nd Annual Gala fundraiser February 25th (Click here to view a flier with more details).  For the community at large hunger can be silent, unseen, but still very much a part of the community.  Hunger affects lives and needs to be addressed.  The Backpack Crew has been established with a mission to deal with hunger and food insecurity issues by providing food and other resources for our families and community.  "Because you can't be awesome when you're hungry."

Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore
Winter 2017 Open House Dates
  • During several different time in January 2017 the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore will host three different Open House events in Farmingdale, Hazlet and Toms River, all open to the public and free to attend.
  • Girls who attend an Open House will get a chance to interact with Girl Scouts from local troops for a fun hour of Girl Scout activities, while parents will meet with helpful Girl Scout staff who will share details and answer any questions about the Girl Scout program.
  • At the end of the event, girls can register for Girl Scouts and be placed into an available troop or program.  We encourage you to attend the Open House that is closest to your hometown, but you are more than welcome to attend an Open House at any of the three locations.
